College-Age Ministry

“Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD our God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.”  Deuteronomy 31:6

Church of the Ascension is devoted to loving God and loving our neighbors, and our neighbors include those who are college-age. We are committed to seeing this generation transformed by Christ to transform the world for Christ.

Students from several universities surrounding Ascension attend our services: Pitt, CMU, Carlow, Chatham, Duquesne. Those who are college-age, but working rather than going to school, also join us. We support one another and do life together, sharing our hopes and fears, and having fun!
