Christian Immigration Advocacy Center
“This is what the Lord Almighty said: ‘Administer true justice; show mercy and compassion to one another. Do not oppress the widow or the fatherless, the foreigner or the poor. Do not plot evil against each other.’ – Zechariah 7:9 – 10
Church of the Ascension partners with the Christian Immigration Advocacy Center (CIAC) each Thursday evening to host a free legal clinic in the Minnie Smith Education Wing (entrance off of Neville Avenue).
CIAC’s Mission is to provide high-quality legal services in a compassionate, incarnational, and culturally appropriate way. CIAC primarily serves low-income individuals and families in need of immigration legal services surrounding green cards, naturalization, family reunification, asylum claims and other related immigration matters.
To make an appointment or to volunteer to help staff the clinic, please email the coordinator or reach out to the main CIAC office on Pittsburgh’s northside.
