Values

Short FormStatement
The Adoration of JesusWe are a community of worshippers, captivated by Jesus, eager to glorify Him in word and sacrament and to celebrate His goodness and grace in all of creation. We are joyfully joined together in Christ, sharing in His abundant life, and in the praise of His name in the whole of our lives.
Biblical FaithfulnessWe seek to encounter the living God in and through Scripture, finding our place in his story and shaping our lives according to the Bible’s vision of reality and flourishing. This includes ongoing repentance as we personally and corporately fail and fall short of God’s glorious purposes.
The Way of the CrossJesus is Lord, and our allegiance is wholly and completely to Him. By God’s grace, we live all of life in reference to Christ and seek to have our minds, hearts, bodies, and souls formed in His likeness as we live our various vocations. We embrace the reality that this invariably comes with cost.
The Common GoodBy God’s grace, we actively seek justice and mercy and to participate in God’s purposes through hospitality, outreach, and service to bless others beyond the bounds of the church. Having received the consolation of God in Jesus Christ and found belonging among His people, we seek to offer consolation and welcome in Jesus’ name.
Generous StewardshipWe have received abundantly from God and participate in Jesus’ resurrection life. Resting in the riches He has lavished on us, we live generously, freely sharing what has been entrusted to us. We joyfully seek to wisely use all that has been given to us for God’s glory and the advancement of His kingdom.
An Open PostureUnited to Christ, we live open to and expectant of the Holy Spirit’s movement, which leads us further up into God’s life and beyond ourselves. In continuity with God’s work in the past, we seek to participate in generating fruitful expressions of God’s goodness for the sake of newcomers and strangers in seasons to come.
